Are you bonded & insured?
Yes, we are fully bonded & insured through reputable insurance companies as well as licensed in the City of Chicago.
Does the same person walk my dog every day?
Once a walker is assigned to your dog, he / she will consistently be your primary dog walker so that they can form a comfortable and trusting relationship. If there are ever any changes, we will notify you in advance.
How many dogs do you walk at a time?
We believe in providing quality personal attention for your dog. Therefore, our walkers only walk dogs in the same household for the entire scheduled duration.
Will my dog ever be ‘off-leash’?
No, your dog will never be off-leash. By city ordinance, all dogs are required to be on-leash when in public areas unless the area is specifically zoned as dog-friendly, such as dog parks or dog beaches. For safety reasons, our walkers always adhere to company policy of keeping dogs on-leash for the entire duration of the walk.
What are normal business (walking) hours?
Our normal walking hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Dog walking service outside of normal business hours (including weekends) are subject to an additional fee of $3.00. For holiday services, please contact us for pricing and availability.
How do I schedule walks? What methods of payment do you accept?
Walks can be scheduled using a unique online scheduling system, as well as via email or phone.
We accept checks and major credit cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is extremely flexible. We would appreciate 24 hour notice, but we understand that it’s not always possible. Therefore, we only ask that you please notify us by 8:00am the morning of your scheduled walk.
My dog has been aggressive in the past, can we still be clients?
Safety is one of our top priorities. During our initial consultation, we will gather pertinent information regarding reactive or aggressive behavior and assess whether or not service can be provided. If possible, we would be happy to work with you and your dog on reinforcing positive behaviors during walks. However, we do reserve the right to discontinue service if general safety becomes a concern.
What is an initial consultation and why is it important?
The initial consultation is a visit in your home allowing you to address any questions you might have about our company and our services. It also gives us a chance to meet your dog and obtain relevant information such as: medical history, building entrances, locations of leash and water bowl, emergency contact and veterinarian information, special requests, etc.
Are background checks performed for your walkers?
In addition to an extensive hiring process, background checks are performed on all walkers before hiring. Every walker also goes through an initial orientation and has several supervised walks before becoming your primary dog walker.
Do you have any referral or loyalty programs?
